Sneakers being a focus on trading cards isn’t new. Player footwear has been featured on and embedded in a variety of sets over the years. But they’ve still been about the player. 2022 Foot Locker x Panini trading cards drop the athletes and are entirely about the shoes.
The promo set is heading to Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker stores across most of Canada (Quebec is excluded) beginning Saturday, April 23.
Graphic artist Casey Bannerman is among those working on the set. His work has appeared on NBA art prints and merchandise as well as custom jerseys and other clothing.
2022 Foot Locker x Panini is a 25-card set.
Packs include five cards and are available at participating stores as a free gift with purchase.
